Overview
In this role you will be a Trader Associate within Private Credit & Infrastructure (PCI) to work in the Fund Finance pod. The Fund Finance business within PCI provides fund recourse portfolio and single name financing from Deutsche Bank's balance sheet to private equity, credit, and other investment funds. The team manages a principal financing book of more than $8bn. The role combines trader, structurer, and credit analyst features and requires strong quantitative abilities for pricing and risk management as well as good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to be able to engage with external clients, internal risk, and control functions. Duties encompass the full range of transaction work streams.

• Origination and product design (in conjunction with sales, structuring and investment banking) for fund financing transactions
• Assisting in documentation and financial modelling of transactions
• Ongoing monitoring of different risk positions within the trading book (marking positions, periodic review of specific elements of transactions)
• Deep dive analysis as required on both i) assets to be financed, and ii) quality of the counterparty recourse Skills You'll Need
• Superior quantitative and interpersonal skills
• Expertise in reviewing and building financials models
• Proficiency in reading and understanding legal documentation for loans and total return swaps
• Some credit underwriting experience
• Ability to coordinate different work streams leading from deal origination to closing (sales, Know Your Client, operations, internal approvals, trade booking) Skills That Will Help You Excel

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $110,000 to $125,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
